The short version

The Dodgers trace back to 1883 in Brooklyn, where the franchise spent 75 years before moving to Los Angeles in 1958. Dodger Stadium has been home since 1962, making it the third-oldest ballpark still in use in the major leagues.

Nine World Series titles in total, seven of them won on the West Coast. The most recent two came in consecutive seasons: 2024 against the Yankees in five games, and 2025 against Toronto in a seven-game series that went to extra innings in the decider. That made the Dodgers the first club to win back-to-back championships since 2000.

Dodger blue, and the only club that kept its colours after crossing the country

Most clubs that move are redesigned within a few years. The Dodgers moved from Brooklyn in 1958 and essentially did not change.

01

Dodger blue has been the club's signature since the Brooklyn years and survived the move west essentially intact, which is genuinely unusual. A 1955 Brooklyn jersey and a current Los Angeles one are recognisably the same colour, and that consistency is why the club's retro designs read so strongly — the colour is a fixed point while everything around it changes. White is the counterpart, used as the body on home designs and as trim on road. What separates editions is the script, the cap-style collar and the sleeve treatment rather than the palette, which is why a Dodgers listing is best judged from the product image.

02

Baseball's number culture is a retirement culture, and the Dodgers use it as a museum. #32 belongs to Sandy Koufax, #14 to Don Sutton, and #42 is retired throughout organised baseball for Jackie Robinson — which is a useful thing to know when reading a Dodgers listing, because a shirt carrying 42 is not an ordinary Dodgers number. With nine World Series, and two of them won back to back, the club has enough championship-era designs that the retro question is less about finding a gem and more about picking the decade you want to wear.

05

The story so far

The 2026 regular season brought another division title — the club's twelfth National League West crown in thirteen seasons. Los Angeles finished the regular season with the second-best record in the National League and went into October as the team everyone else was measured against.

We list 216 Dodgers items, the largest baseball range we carry. Home designs lead the breakdown, followed by youth and alternate cuts. Replica, Premium, or Throwback?

Every league names its cuts differently. Here is the plain-English version of what the words on each listing mean.

Fan replica

Lightweight button-front or pullover cut with team lettering, built for warm-weather wear.

Premium cut

Higher-grade fabric with stitched detailing, closer to the on-field silhouette.

Retro / Throwback

Cooperstown-era and vintage designs reissued in current sizing.

Custom

Pick a name and number on a team shell, printed to order.

Sizes and who they are for

How the cuts fit in practice, and what to do when you are on the boundary.

True to size

Most listings run true to size with an athletic cut. If you wear a medium tee, a medium jersey is the usual call.

Between sizes?

Size up for a looser match-day fit, or stay down for a closer cut under a hoodie.

Youth & women's

Both are carried in selected editions and sized on their own charts — the listing page shows the break.

Care guide

Five minutes of care keeps a printed or stitched shirt looking new for years. These are the steps that actually matter — the rest is optional.

StepWhat to doWhy it matters
1 · WashTurn the shirt inside out and wash cold, on a normal or gentle cycle, with a mild detergent. Wash it with other darks.Heat and detergent are what break down screen-printed ink and loosen heat-bonded numbers. Inside-out protects the graphic from abrasion.
2 · No bleach, no softenerSkip chlorine bleach and fabric softener. If a shirt needs brightening, use an oxygen-based cleaner and check the care label first.Softener leaves a film on the print that traps dirt, and bleach will fade the colours and eat into stitching over time.
3 · Dry low or air dryAir dry flat or on a hanger. If you have to use a dryer, use low heat for a short cycle and take it out while slightly damp.High tumble heat is the single biggest cause of shrinking and warped twill numbers. Drying damp and shaping by hand avoids both.
4 · Iron inside outIron the shirt inside out on a low setting, or press a cloth over the graphic. Never iron directly onto a number, name or crest.Direct heat and steam lift the edge of a print and can melt heat-bonded lettering. Inside out puts the heat on the fabric, not the graphic.
5 · Store it properlyFold or hang in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not leave a shirt in a car or an attic over a season.Sunlight fades colours unevenly and heat in a parked car or loft will yellow the fabric. A dark, dry storage spot is the whole job.

Common questions

How many World Series have the Dodgers won?

Nine, most recently in 2025. Two of them — 2024 and 2025 — were won in consecutive seasons.

When were the Dodgers founded?

1883, in Brooklyn. The club moved to Los Angeles before the 1958 season.

How did the 2025 World Series end?

The Dodgers beat Toronto 4-3, winning the deciding game in extra innings after trailing 3-0 early. It was the club's first back-to-back title and the first by any club since 2000.

How did the 2026 season go?

Another National League West title — the club's twelfth in thirteen seasons — and the second-best record in the National League going into the postseason.

How many Dodgers items do you list?

216 at the last check, the largest baseball range we carry. The edition breakdown is in the table above.

Why is Dodger Blue used so consistently?

It has been the club's signature since the Brooklyn years and survived the move west, which is unusual — most relocations brought a redesign. The consistency is why the colour reads as the same on a 1950s throwback and a current shirt.
