Los Angeles Lakers Jerseys
Seventeen championships, a franchise that started in Minneapolis, and the deepest single club collection we carry — 212 pieces.

The short version
The Lakers began life in Minneapolis in 1947 and won five championships there before moving to Los Angeles in 1960. That early run, and everything since, is why the club's trophy count is split across two cities rather than one.
Seventeen NBA titles in total, most recently in 2020. The sequence runs through distinct eras — the Minneapolis years, the Showtime 1980s, the early-2000s three-peat, the 2009–10 titles and the 2020 championship — which is also why the club's merchandise is unusually deep in retro and vintage designs. Buyers of a Lakers shirt are often choosing a decade as much as a team.

What they have won
Every number here comes straight from the record books, with the years that made it happen.
Purple and gold, and a legacy split across two cities
The Lakers are the rare case where the colour is constant but the meaning is not, because five championships were won in a city the club no longer plays in.
Purple and gold has been the Lakers' pairing since the club moved to Los Angeles for the 1960 season, and it has never seriously been contested. What makes Lakers colour unusual is that it is not tied to one place. Five championships came in Minneapolis, where the club was founded in 1947, and twelve more came in Los Angeles after the 1960 move. A Lakers shirt in a heritage design may therefore reference a title the club won before it had ever set up in California. If you are buying for the design rather than the era, the shade is what to check: the purple has shifted slightly across decades, from a duller, almost aubergine tone in the 1970s to the cleaner purple the club uses now.
Los Angeles has one of the most developed number cultures in American sport. The club's retired numbers are effectively a museum of its best eras — #32 for the Showtime years, #24 for the Kobe era, #33 for Kareem — and because so many of them are repainted rather than replaced, a vintage-era number often carries a different name than the one it carries now. That is also why Lakers retro and vintage designs form one of the largest blocks in the range we carry: when a franchise has recognisable numbers across five distinct dynasties, choosing a shirt is really choosing a decade.
The story so far
The 2025-26 season produced 53 wins and a Pacific Division title, a 4-2 first-round win over Houston, and then a second-round sweep at the hands of Oklahoma City. It was the club's second consecutive 50-win season.
We list 212 Lakers items. City and statement designs form the largest block by some margin, followed by retro and vintage pieces — a pattern specific to this club. Swingman, Statement, or Custom?
Every league names its cuts differently. Here is the plain-English version of what the words on each listing mean.
The classic fan cut — twill numbers, athletic taper, the silhouette you see on court.
Alternate designs and city editions, carried alongside the standard colourways.
Hardwood-era designs brought back for the current roster.
Blank shells with your own name and number, printed to order.

Sizes and who they are for
How the cuts fit in practice, and what to do when you are on the boundary.
Most listings run true to size with an athletic cut. If you wear a medium tee, a medium jersey is the usual call.
Size up for a looser match-day fit, or stay down for a closer cut under a hoodie.
Both are carried in selected editions and sized on their own charts — the listing page shows the break.
Care guide
Five minutes of care keeps a printed or stitched shirt looking new for years. These are the steps that actually matter — the rest is optional.
| Step | What to do | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| 1 · Wash | Turn the shirt inside out and wash cold, on a normal or gentle cycle, with a mild detergent. Wash it with other darks. | Heat and detergent are what break down screen-printed ink and loosen heat-bonded numbers. Inside-out protects the graphic from abrasion. |
| 2 · No bleach, no softener | Skip chlorine bleach and fabric softener. If a shirt needs brightening, use an oxygen-based cleaner and check the care label first. | Softener leaves a film on the print that traps dirt, and bleach will fade the colours and eat into stitching over time. |
| 3 · Dry low or air dry | Air dry flat or on a hanger. If you have to use a dryer, use low heat for a short cycle and take it out while slightly damp. | High tumble heat is the single biggest cause of shrinking and warped twill numbers. Drying damp and shaping by hand avoids both. |
| 4 · Iron inside out | Iron the shirt inside out on a low setting, or press a cloth over the graphic. Never iron directly onto a number, name or crest. | Direct heat and steam lift the edge of a print and can melt heat-bonded lettering. Inside out puts the heat on the fabric, not the graphic. |
| 5 · Store it properly | Fold or hang in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not leave a shirt in a car or an attic over a season. | Sunlight fades colours unevenly and heat in a parked car or loft will yellow the fabric. A dark, dry storage spot is the whole job. |
