New York Rangers Jerseys
An Original Six club with four Stanley Cups, a centenary on the horizon, and one of the most recognisable jerseys in hockey.

The short version
The Rangers joined the NHL in 1926 as an expansion club and have played at Madison Square Garden for their entire existence — one of the longest continuous venue tenancies in professional sport. The 2025-26 season was the franchise's 99th of play and its centenary season overall.
Four Stanley Cups: 1928 and 1933 in the club's first decade, 1940 on the eve of the Second World War, and then a 54-year wait broken in 1994. That 1994 run — ending with a seven-game Final — is the most recent championship and remains the reference point for the club's supporters.

What they have won
Every number here comes straight from the record books, with the years that made it happen.
Royal blue, and diagonal lettering that has outlasted every redesign
The Rangers' diagonal wordmark is the oldest continuous design element in the NHL, and the one detail that identifies a Rangers shirt at a distance more reliably than the colour does.
Royal blue is the Rangers' primary colour, and what makes the club distinctive is not the colour but the lettering: the diagonal arrangement of the wordmark has been used in various forms since the 1920s and remains the club's defining design feature. The shade of blue has shifted across eras — the original 1920s and 1930s designs sit in a different register from the modern look — and the red numbering on the current designs is itself a comparatively recent choice. New York is one of the six Original Six clubs, which means the vintage end of the range is deep: there are designs from the four Stanley Cups the club won, and every one of them carries the diagonal in some form.
The number culture is unusually domestic. Unlike baseball, the NHL does not run a universal retired-number system, so Original Six clubs retire numbers in their own buildings and the practice varies club by club. For New York that means the recognisable digits are concentrated in the 1994 Cup era and the broadcast years that followed — #11 is the most famous — while earlier numbers stay available. Our range is spread unusually evenly across home, customisable and youth cuts, which fits an Original Six club that buys for a wide spread of ages rather than one generation.
The story so far
The 2025-26 season was a hard one: 77 points, last place in the Eastern Conference, and a second consecutive season outside the playoffs. The club changed head coach, lost its top defenceman and starting goaltender for extended stretches, and announced a roster retool in January.
We list 116 Rangers items. The range is spread unusually evenly across home, customisable and youth cuts rather than concentrating on one block — consistent with an Original Six fanbase that buys for a range of ages. Fan, Premium, or Retro?
Every league names its cuts differently. Here is the plain-English version of what the words on each listing mean.
The standard supporter jersey — air-knit fabric, embroidered crest, built for the rink and the stands.
Heavier fabric with fight-strap detailing and truer on-ice proportions.
Winter Classic and alternate designs alongside the home and away sets.
Your name and number on a blank team shell, lettered to order.

Sizes and who they are for
How the cuts fit in practice, and what to do when you are on the boundary.
Most listings run true to size with an athletic cut. If you wear a medium tee, a medium jersey is the usual call.
Size up for a looser match-day fit, or stay down for a closer cut under a hoodie.
Both are carried in selected editions and sized on their own charts — the listing page shows the break.
Care guide
Five minutes of care keeps a printed or stitched shirt looking new for years. These are the steps that actually matter — the rest is optional.
| Step | What to do | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| 1 · Wash | Turn the shirt inside out and wash cold, on a normal or gentle cycle, with a mild detergent. Wash it with other darks. | Heat and detergent are what break down screen-printed ink and loosen heat-bonded numbers. Inside-out protects the graphic from abrasion. |
| 2 · No bleach, no softener | Skip chlorine bleach and fabric softener. If a shirt needs brightening, use an oxygen-based cleaner and check the care label first. | Softener leaves a film on the print that traps dirt, and bleach will fade the colours and eat into stitching over time. |
| 3 · Dry low or air dry | Air dry flat or on a hanger. If you have to use a dryer, use low heat for a short cycle and take it out while slightly damp. | High tumble heat is the single biggest cause of shrinking and warped twill numbers. Drying damp and shaping by hand avoids both. |
| 4 · Iron inside out | Iron the shirt inside out on a low setting, or press a cloth over the graphic. Never iron directly onto a number, name or crest. | Direct heat and steam lift the edge of a print and can melt heat-bonded lettering. Inside out puts the heat on the fabric, not the graphic. |
| 5 · Store it properly | Fold or hang in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not leave a shirt in a car or an attic over a season. | Sunlight fades colours unevenly and heat in a parked car or loft will yellow the fabric. A dark, dry storage spot is the whole job. |
