          Jersey Size Guide

Size charts for NFL, MLB, College, NBA, NHL, and Soccer jerseys — Men, Women, and Kids.
How to read these charts: Most charts list sizes across the top row. The first column shows the measurement type (e.g., Chest, Waist, Hips).
Some jerseys include both body measurements (use your own body size to pick a size) and garment measurements (the actual jersey dimensions). All values are in inches unless cm is noted.

          Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the right size if I am between two sizes?

If your measurements fall on the borderline between two sizes, we generally recommend ordering the smaller size for a tighter, athletic fit, or the larger size if you prefer a looser, more relaxed everyday fit. For tops, prioritize your chest measurement if chest and waist measurements point to different sizes.

What is the difference between body dimensions and garment dimensions?

Body dimensions refer to your actual physical measurements (such as standing chest or waist circumference) measured with a tape measure. Garment dimensions refer to the exact flat-lay or physical size of the clothing item itself. Please check the subtitle above each chart to confirm whether you should match your own body size or compare the numbers to a similar item you already own.

How should I measure my chest and waist properly?

To measure your chest, wrap a flexible tape measure horizontally around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it level under your arms and across your shoulder blades. For your waist, measure around the narrowest part of your waistline, typically near your belly button, while keeping the tape comfortably relaxed.

Are youth sizes based on age or body measurements?

Youth sizes are primarily categorized by age ranges and general height/weight growth stages. However, because children grow at different rates, we strongly recommend checking the specific chest and waist inch measurements in the youth tables rather than relying solely on age.

New for 2026-27 and In Stock - Key Details

          No-Fade Colour

The black tone is held inside the yarn, which is why the jersey still reads the same in March as it did in September.

          Colour That Holds

The black finish is built to survive the wash cycle, so the jersey does not fade into a paler version of itself by mid-season.

          Clean V-Neckline

The V-neck keeps the collar line tidy and stops the jersey from pulling across the chest when you move.

          Faithful to the Palette

The black tone is matched to the SMU Mustangs look rather than approximated, so it sits right next to the rest of your gear.

What You Get When You Order for 2026-2027

This is the 2026-2027 build of the SMU Mustangs black jersey, and it is in stock in the sizes shown on this page. The lightweight polyester platform keeps the weight down, the seams sit flat, and the collar holds its shape through a full season of washing.

Order before the first home game and the colours are ready for it. The black palette stays exactly where SMU Mustangs supporters expect it; what changed for 2026-2027 is the weight, the seam layout and the airflow.

          • In stock now in the sizes listed on this page
          • Lighter body than the previous knit, with better airflow
          • black colourway built to hold its depth across the season
          • Reworked seams to cut friction under the arm

Where the New SMU Mustangs Jersey Gets Worn

Layer it under a jacket for a cold Saturday afternoon, or wear it alone when the season turns warm. The build is light enough for both.

          Sizing, Fit and Version Notes

Ordering note: because this is a made-for-supporters jersey, the fit is built around ordinary clothing sizes rather than padded game kit. Take the size you would wear in a standard t-shirt, and size up only if you want extra room.

Detailed specs: 100% polyester. Sleeveless. V-neck. Fully sublimated graphics with no raised stitching. Clean finished hem. Everything above is listed in the specification table below this description.

          Ordering Questions, Answered

          What size should I order?

Take the size you normally wear in a t-shirt for a clean fit, or one size up if you want a looser, layered look. The chest measurement is the one that matters most, so compare it against a jersey you already own. A full size chart is on this page.

Is this an on-field playing jersey?

No. This is a fan build made for supporters - the same black palette and SMU Mustangs graphics in a lighter, everyday construction. It is designed to be worn in the stands and day to day rather than on the field.

          How should I wash it?

Cold machine wash on a gentle cycle, inside out, with similar colours. Skip fabric softener and skip the tumble dryer. Line dry and the shape and graphics stay intact.

          Can I change the number?

The number is part of the SMU Mustangs design on this build. Where the checkout offers personalisation, you can enter your own details and review the preview before confirming.

Order the SMU Mustangs black jersey today and have the 2026-27 colours ready well before the first home game.
