      Jersey Size Guide

Size charts for NFL, MLB, College, NBA, NHL, and Soccer jerseys — Men, Women, and Kids.
How to read these charts: Most charts list sizes across the top row. The first column shows the measurement type (e.g., Chest, Waist, Hips).
Some jerseys include both body measurements (use your own body size to pick a size) and garment measurements (the actual jersey dimensions). All values are in inches unless cm is noted.

      Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the right size if I am between two sizes?

If your measurements fall on the borderline between two sizes, we generally recommend ordering the smaller size for a tighter, athletic fit, or the larger size if you prefer a looser, more relaxed everyday fit. For tops, prioritize your chest measurement if chest and waist measurements point to different sizes.

What is the difference between body dimensions and garment dimensions?

Body dimensions refer to your actual physical measurements (such as standing chest or waist circumference) measured with a tape measure. Garment dimensions refer to the exact flat-lay or physical size of the clothing item itself. Please check the subtitle above each chart to confirm whether you should match your own body size or compare the numbers to a similar item you already own.

How should I measure my chest and waist properly?

To measure your chest, wrap a flexible tape measure horizontally around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it level under your arms and across your shoulder blades. For your waist, measure around the narrowest part of your waistline, typically near your belly button, while keeping the tape comfortably relaxed.

Are youth sizes based on age or body measurements?

Youth sizes are primarily categorized by age ranges and general height/weight growth stages. However, because children grow at different rates, we strongly recommend checking the specific chest and waist inch measurements in the youth tables rather than relying solely on age.

Youth Classic #1 Gold Cal Bears Football Jersey

In stock for 2026-27: the Cal Bears gold Football jersey, cut for supporters who want a current look without giving up all-day comfort.

It is in stock in the sizes shown on this page, so ordering takes a minute.

New for 2026-27 and In Stock - Key Details

      Lightweight Comfort

The polyester build keeps the jersey light on the shoulders, which matters on a warm afternoon in the stands or a long day on campus.

      Breathable Knit

The fabric moves air rather than trapping it, so heat has somewhere to go when the game runs into extra time.

      Colour That Holds

The gold finish is built to survive the wash cycle, so the jersey does not fade into a paler version of itself by mid-season.

      Polyester Build

Smooth polyester construction that dries quickly, resists creasing and stays comfortable through a long day of wear.

What You Get When You Order for 2026-2027

This is the 2026-2027 build of the Cal Bears gold jersey, and it is in stock in the sizes shown on this page. The lightweight polyester platform keeps the weight down, the seams sit flat, and the collar holds its shape through a full season of washing.

Order before the first home game and the colours are ready for it. The gold palette stays exactly where Cal Bears supporters expect it; what changed for 2026-2027 is the weight, the seam layout and the airflow.

      • In stock now in the sizes listed on this page
      • Lighter body than the previous knit, with better airflow
      • gold colourway built to hold its depth across the season
      • Reworked seams to cut friction under the arm

Where the New Cal Bears Jersey Gets Worn

Layer it under a jacket for a cold Saturday afternoon, or wear it alone when the season turns warm. The build is light enough for both.

      Sizing, Fit and Version Notes

Ordering note: because this is a made-for-supporters jersey, the fit is built around ordinary clothing sizes rather than padded game kit. Take the size you would wear in a standard t-shirt, and size up only if you want extra room.

Sizing: this jersey follows standard fan jersey measurements. If you usually take a medium in a t-shirt and want a relaxed, over-a-hoodie fit, go one size up. A size chart sits on this page - check the chest measurement before ordering, since that is the number that decides how a jersey sits.

      Ordering Questions, Answered

Can I wear it for everyday use, not just game days?

That is how most people end up wearing it. The build is light and clean enough for campus, work or travel, and the gold keeps it obviously connected to Cal Bears.

      How should I wash it?

Cold machine wash on a gentle cycle, inside out, with similar colours. Skip fabric softener and skip the tumble dryer. Line dry and the shape and graphics stay intact.

      What size should I order?

Take the size you normally wear in a t-shirt for a clean fit, or one size up if you want a looser, layered look. The chest measurement is the one that matters most, so compare it against a jersey you already own. A full size chart is on this page.

      Can I change the number?

The number is part of the Cal Bears design on this build. Where the checkout offers personalisation, you can enter your own details and review the preview before confirming.
